Rawlings Scott Schoeneweis Custom PRO6XBCB Heart of the Hide 12 Baseball Glove

  

This is a very cool find. This listing is for a glove that I believe was worn by Scott Schoeneweis when he played for the NY Mets in 2007 and 2008.

While I have no official confirmation, and not COA or anything like that to absolutely prove it, the timeline of when he wore this specific glove lines up, as well as the unique properties of this glove matching up. This glove is embroidered with his player number of 60, and the model number differs from the public retail model and does not include the dash you see in every other instance of this glove. The model number of this glove is PRO6XBCB while the retail model available to the public is PRO-6XBCB. I've included a photo of. Scott Schoeneweis wearing this glove for comparison, with the embroidered player number and alternate model number format visible. Glove is in good used condition with the normal signs of use. Some fading and some marks as expected with a glove of this age. Stitching looks good, lacing looks good, no rips and no tears.

Please note that I do not condition or break in any of the used gloves I sell, this is something I feel should be left to the person who is purchasing the glove so that they can do so in the way they believe is best. Some gloves come to me already broken in, and some gloves will require some work to break in. This particular glove feels great on the hand and in my opinion is game ready. Some people may prefer stiffer or softer leather though.
