CUSTOM Pro Shop RAWLINGS HEART OF THE HIDE HOH FIRST BASE MITT GLOVE 1B 1st 13 PRODCT-10. Excellent condition, never used in a game and never used to play catch- I started breaking it in with a mallet to the palm/a little Rawlings break in oil and opening and closing my hand over and over again. I have kept it in the bag with a baseball in it and an elastic band around and occasionally pulled it out to throw a baseball into it (like, use my R hand to throw it into my left hand) but never actually used it to play catch with another person. That being said, it has a good start and shows a little bit of use vs what it would if it still had the tags, etc but it still needs some time playing real catch before its game ready. I bought it because I thought I was going to be playing first base- turns out I have played every position EXCEPT for first since I got this one in. Id love to keep it because I love the color, the leather itself and the feel of the mitt on my hand but I really dont see myself using it.
