Rawlings Japan Glove HOH Heart of the Hide RHT LH Catcher Mitt 33 Black Limited

Rawlings Japan Glove HOH Heart of the Hide RHT LH Catcher Mitt 33 Black Limited. This is a Rawlings Heart of the Hide BLIZZARD & Wizard Catcher Mitt, model GR3HO2AF, in 33-inch Black. The Heart of the Hide series is one of Rawlings' most recognized premium glove lines, known for its substantial leather feel, durability, excellent structure, and professional-level performance. Combined with the distinctive BLIZZARD & Wizard design, this mitt offers both strong visual appeal and the premium character that Heart of the Hide players look for.

Premium Heart of the Hide Leather. Heart of the Hide leather is valued for its durability, substantial feel, and ability to develop a personalized pocket and shape through use. The leather provides a confident, responsive feel when receiving the ball while maintaining the structure needed for serious catching. The premium leather also gives this mitt a refined feel in the hand while offering the durability expected from the Heart of the Hide series.

Designed for Japanese Rubber Baseball. Japan has two major types of baseball gloves: gloves designed for hard baseball and gloves designed for rubber baseball (soft-ball). Japanese rubber baseballs are surprisingly hard and are much firmer than many overseas players may expect, with a feel that can be comparable to a hard baseball.

This mitt is designed for Japanese rubber baseball, but its durable construction makes it strong enough to be used for hard baseball as well. Because rubber-ball models can have a slightly softer and more user-friendly feel, they are also popular with players who appreciate premium leather that is easier to handle while still offering excellent durability. The BLIZZARD & Wizard styling gives this catcher mitt a distinctive Rawlings look that stands out from standard models. It is an excellent choice for players who want a premium Heart of the Hide mitt with a more unique Japanese-market design.

The combination of the classic Heart of the Hide identity, premium leather, catcher-specific construction, and BLIZZARD & Wizard styling makes this a particularly attractive addition to a collection or game-ready glove rotation. Series: Heart of the Hide. Use: Japanese Rubber Baseball / Soft-Ball. This catcher mitt is brand new and unused. Please check all photos carefully for the exact condition and included details.
